Square Chapel Arts Centre opens its doors after transformation

The newly constructed Cornerstone development of the Square Chapel Arts Centre opened to an invited audience on 7 June after 12 years of planning. The impressive new Copper Building designed by Evans Vettori Architects contains an additional performance space, cinema, cafe bar and other ancillary space for the existing Georgian Theatre. The building will directly connect to the Piece Hall which opens on 1 August after a 2 year transformation and adjoins the newly built Central Library also opening shortly.

Walker Singleton have provided consultancy advice to the Trustees for 30 years and are pleased to be associated with this important project which is rejuvenating the Piece Hall Quarter of Halifax.
