Halifax Reborn – Yorkshire Insider Business Breakfast

David Heap, Walker Singleton’s senior Commercial Property Director, was a speaker and panelist at a Yorkshire Business Insider Breakfast Event held on 9 November at the Orange Box adjoining the Halifax Piece Hall.

The session was sponsored by LRH Chartered Accountants and chaired by Yorkshire Insider Editor, Ian Leech. There was positive discussion on the impact of recent strategic developments in Halifax including The Piece Hall and Dean Clough in changing awareness of the town. Debate moved to how these advances can be leveraged to help continue to change perception of the Borough aligned to promoting the advantages these and other commercial and leisure focused developments carry in encouraging further inward investment.

David Heap joined other panelists under the spotlights; Robin Tuddenham, Chief Executive of Calderdale MBC, Nicky Chance-Thompson, CEO of the Piece Hall Trust, Trevor Mitchell, Planning Director for Yorkshire, Historic England and Naseer Mailk, Chairman of Malik House Business Centres in a lively question and answer session moderated by Ian Leech.
